Help! I have multiple charges on my bank statement!Updated 3 months ago
Thank you for your recent order with us. We understand it can be concerning to see multiple entries related to a single purchase on your bank statement, and we’d like to clarify how this works.
When you place an order, your bank places an initial authorization hold on your payment method. This is temporary and ensures the transaction is approved. If there are any adjustments to your order, such as applied discounts, updated taxes, or changes in the total, the final captured amount may differ slightly from the authorization.
As a result, you may see two entries on your statement:
- The original authorization (temporary hold)
- The final charge reflecting the actual purchase amount
Please note that you are only charged once, for the final total of your order. The temporary authorization will automatically be released by your bank within a few business days, though the exact timing depends on your bank’s processing policies.
